New style pics for instagram-19.jpg

I think it's in the nature of a photographer to be a bit uncomfortable talking about themselves. We spend much more time behind a camera pumping other people up, so when it comes time to talk about ourselves its a little weird. And I mean, I've been behind the camera for as long as I can remember. I was 10 when I was given my first camera. It was one of those point and shoot waterproof compacts that came in vibrant colours and weighed about half a kilo. The photos it took always had some strange haze to them, and it only shot on auto, but it came with me everywhere.

I was the annoying kid at every family even shoving that camera in everyones face. Then I was the annoying teenager with a professional camera begging her friends to model for her. Now in my mid 20's, my camera still comes with me everywhere and I am always in awe of the fact that this is my job now.

In this dream career I have shot countless events, weddings, elopements, portraits for writers for the dust jacket of their books, fashion, dance and circus, live music and just for fun. I have had the privilege to show people sides of themselves they were unable to see and given people memories they didn’t even know were being recorded. I've also had the honour of meeting and working along side some of the coolest people, couples and performers to create some pretty awesome stuff.

That's where you come in. It's my job to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera - wait, not just comfortable... like a goddamn rockstar.

So let's get together and make something awesome.
